EASTON, PA – Lafayette opened the home portion of its schedule with a 90-81 loss to Robert Morris.
Bryce Scott notched a game-high 25 points. Dan Trist paired his 18 points with 12 rebounds to record his first-career double-double. Junior Seth Hinrichs added 16 points, while Joey Ptasinski knocked down four threes en route to 15 points.
Trist and Scott combined for seven of the game’s first nine points before the Colonials went on a 10-2 run. Lafayette went into the half down one, but came out in the second half with a 20-8 run. Ptasinski scored eight straight points to give the Maroon and White a nine-point cushion five minutes into the half. Robert Morris clawed its way back scoring 20 of the final 28 points to secure the win.
